Assyrian Aid Society Australia selects new committee for 2024
Assyrian Aid Society Australia (AAS-Au) held its 2023 Annual General Meeting on Sunday November 26.
During the meeting, a range of topics were discussed including the organisation’s objectives according to the constitution, financials and the objectives for the upcoming future.
AAS-Au would like to take this opportunity to thank Richard Yalda for his dedication and hard work for the past 4 years. Richard retired as the Secretary and was replaced by Ninus Kanna. Lilyan Youkhanis will join AAS-Au as the newly appointed Head of Fundraising, replacing Ninus in this transition. All other committee roles remain unchanged.
Our team would like to thank our contributors and significant donors this year including the Assyrian Sports and Cultural Club, Assyrian Australian Association, Evin Yalda (Croix ISG), Dr Mariam Joseph (Endeavour Specialists) and Elizabeth Kelaita.
We would also like to thank our volunteers and supports. The new look committee looks forward to seeing you at our next event.
